We have successfully prosecuted numerous complex medical cases involving general surgery, ENT, neurosurgery, periteneal injuries, Gamma Knife surgery, and delayed diagnosis. We have committed a considerable resources to the prosecution of nursing home neglect of the elderly. We have developed a good working relationship with able and respected physicians nationwide, who will testify where warranted. We have settled over thirty diet drug cases, as well as representing nearly 600 women in the breast implant settlements and in court. Our in house staff is equipped to
evaluate claims and pursue those with merit. We also defend physicians and represent them in licensure matters. We also conduct a general practice with over thirty years of experience in Atlanta. Paul D. Hermann, P.C. was founded February 1, 1995.

As of February 1, 2002, we have attained settlements and verdicts totaling over $50,000,000.00, including over $17,500,000.00 in breast implant claims and over $12,000,000.00 in diet drug (Fen-Phen) claims. The firm currently represents over 200 women with breast implant claims against Dow Corning.

The firm's staff consists of an associate attorney, paralegal professionals, as well as a registered nurse with over 30 years experience in the medical and legal fields, including 10 years with the Hermann firm. Mr. Hermann is a certified mediator who has mediated and arbitrated over 100 cases with a resolution rate of approximately 90%. He is a member of the mediator board for the Atlanta office of JAMS/Endisputes, and is a registered mediator in the Dekalb County ADR office.
