Background Paul D. Hermann, P.C. was formed in 1984, and became a partner in the law firm of Walbert & Hermann.
He was also a lead counsel for the plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit comprised of Georgia and South Carolina customers of Southern Bell challenging the billing of hidden maintenance fees to Southern Bell customers. From 1979 to 1984, Paul Hermann was a partner at Pope, Hermann & Kellogg, where he practiced medical malpractice litigation for plaintiffs as well as defendants. From 1973 to 1979, he was an associate with Neely, Freeman & Hawkins, where he practiced insurance defense, F.E.L.A. defense, as well as plaintiffs litigation. Clients included Royal Globe, Travelers, Sentry, and Zurich Insurance Companies, as well as Southern Railway Company. Upon graduating from Harvard Law School in 1972, Paul Hermann practiced as a staff attorney for Georgia Indigent Legal Services in Dalton and Rome, Georgia. He received his BA in economics from the University of California Berkeley in 1969, after having studied economics at Georg August University, Goettingen, Germany in 1967 and 1968. Paul D. Hermann is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, American Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers' Association, American Trial Lawyers' Association, and the Georgia Civil Justice Foundation Board of Directors. He is a former member of the Georgia Defense Trial Lawyers, National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel, and the Atlanta Claims Association.
